Under the guidance of Dr. Dilek AKIN, a faculty member of our Vocational School of Food and Agriculture, Field Crops Program students Keziban KARA and Nazan KİBRİ successfully carried out the planting and harvesting of saffron in the Eldivan district. This work offered an important experience both in translating theoretical knowledge into practice and in raising awareness about agricultural production. The cultivation of saffron—a crop with high economic value—provided our students with hands-on experience of the agricultural production process, while also highlighting its potential as an alternative product for our province.
