An event titled “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and Their Cultivation” was held at Çankırı Karatekin Primary School, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Dilek AKIN from the Plant Protection Program of the Vocational School of Food and Agriculture.
The presentation, held in the school’s conference hall, introduced various species of medicinal and aromatic plants and provided information about their cultivation methods and areas of use.
The event was attended by 4th-grade students of Karatekin Primary School. Organized with the aim of maintaining children’s curiosity about plants and equipping them with basic knowledge in this field, the event was followed with great interest by the participants.
Such educational activities aim to introduce students to plant science at an early age and foster an awareness of environmental responsibility.
