Field Crops Program Receives Full Accreditation from MEDEK

The Field Crops Program of Çankırı Karatekin University, Vocational School of Food and Agriculture, has successfully completed the evaluation process carried out by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical and Health Education Programs (MEDEK) and has been granted full accreditation. The accreditation is valid for the period 01.01.2026 – 31.12.2029, emphasizing that the program’s quality assurance has been institutionally recognized through 2030.

MEDEK accreditation is an important quality assurance mechanism that assesses a program’s compliance with institutional quality standards in areas such as educational processes, learning outcomes, practical training infrastructure, measurement and evaluation, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement. In this context, full accreditation represents a strategic achievement that strengthens our program’s approach to institutionalization, sustainable quality management, and accountability.

With its strong academic staff and student-friendly, practice-oriented education approach, the Field Crops Program continues to enhance learning environments where students can effectively transfer professional competencies to real-world settings. This achievement is also a tangible indicator of our program’s commitment to quality-focused development.
