Türkiye’s Ombudsman Institution, affiliated with the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, has determined that a significant portion of the applications submitted to the Institution concern education and training matters, and that applications related to private schools have also increased in recent years. In light of these findings, the Institution plans to prepare a special report addressing the problems of education and training in Türkiye.
To generate data for this report, the Ombudsman Institution has launched a survey for parents/guardians to assess the extent to which equal opportunity is ensured in Türkiye’s education processes and to identify parents’ experiences and observations regarding the education system. Participation of all parents/guardians is of great importance in order to accurately identify problem areas within the education system and to develop solution proposals.
In this context, it is highly valuable for our students’ parents/guardians, our university staff who are parents/guardians, our students who are parents/guardians themselves, and all stakeholders who are directly or indirectly related to educational processes to participate in the survey, in terms of the inclusiveness and representativeness of the report to be prepared.
