Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Portakal, Vice Director of Çankırı Karatekin University Vocational School of Food and Agriculture, and Dr. Lecturer Dilek Akın, one of our academic staff members, visited Çankırı Şehit Mehmet Ata Agricultural Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and met with the students.
During the information event, comprehensive details were shared about our vocational school’s educational opportunities, practical training processes, internship possibilities, laboratory infrastructure, and program structure. In addition, detailed presentations were made about the Field Crops, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and Hunting and Wildlife programs.
This visit, aimed at guiding high school students in their university selection process, proved highly effective in supporting vocational orientation and increasing awareness of higher education.
At the end of the event, mutual goodwill was expressed toward enhancing collaboration between our university and the high school.
