The Academic Council Meeting of Çankırı Karatekin University’s Food and Agriculture Vocational School was held under the chairmanship of our School Director, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran. The meeting reviewed academic planning for the 2025–2026 academic year, the current status of the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) and Program Accreditation (PA) processes, opportunities for Erasmus exchange programs and projects, improvements based on last year’s outcomes, and the goals for the new term.
Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran stated that the KAP and PA processes are progressing positively for our university and vocational school, noting:
“Although we were outside the program scope last year, we successfully completed our compliance and preparations. We have submitted our accreditation application for the Field Crops Program. I sincerely thank all colleagues who contributed to this process.”
The agenda also covered increasing the number of events, strengthening collaboration with stakeholders, updating course plans and the assessment–evaluation schedule, enhancing quality assurance practices, and taking new steps focused on student success and employability. In addition, information was provided on Erasmus student and staff mobility, joint project calls, and inter-institutional cooperation.
The meeting concluded with Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran’s wishes for a successful and healthy academic year for all academic and administrative staff.
