The First Meeting Held with the Çankırı Commodity Exchange within the Scope of the Vocational Cooperation Protocol

Within the scope of the “Vocational Schools Cooperation Education Protocol,” signed and put into effect between the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the first meeting was held between Çankırı Karatekin University Food and Agriculture Vocational School and the Çankırı Commodity Exchange.

The meeting was attended by our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran, Deputy Director Dr. Lecturer Pınar Portakal, and Chairman of the Çankırı Commodity Exchange Erdal Aslan.

During the meeting, it was decided to take concrete steps on the following issues:

  • Implementing joint projects aimed at improving vocational education in Çankırı,

  • Increasing practical training so that students can be better prepared for the business world,

  • Planning joint training programs to raise the qualified workforce needed by enterprises,

  • Expanding internship and employment opportunities for students,

  • Establishing sustainable cooperation mechanisms between educational institutions and the business world.

This cooperation is expected to contribute to the professional development of our students and provide significant support for the training of a qualified workforce in Çankırı.
