An information session was held at Çankırı Karatekin University’s Vocational School of Food and Agriculture regarding TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B research project calls for undergraduate students, including those aimed at industry collaboration. The event took place on Friday, October 24, 2025, in classroom Z-07 of the Faculty of Engineering.
The speaker, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran, provided a comprehensive overview of the application process—from proposal development to budgeting and reporting. He also shared examples of previously funded projects, touching on key aspects such as shaping a solid research idea, student–advisor collaboration, literature review, method selection, and time management.
The Q&A session sparked great interest among students. They asked detailed questions about how to turn an idea into a successful application, how to structure the budget, and how to establish partnerships with industry. All questions were addressed thoroughly.
Participants left the session with a clearer understanding of the process and practical insights drawn from past experiences.
