Çankırı Karatekin University Vocational School of Food and Agriculture Academic Board Meeting was held on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Muhammed Nuri Öner and Prof. Dr. İbrahim Bozkurt, and our Secretary General Muharrem Sezen.

In the opening remarks, our Director Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran reviewed the School’s development process from its establishment to the present day and shared the latest status regarding the increasing number of academic publications and the rising number of students with the board members. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Kuşvuran also provided information on the key areas of work to be pursued by presenting our goals, the planned new programs/departments, and our institutional development vision for the coming period.

In the following part of the meeting, our Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş expressed his appreciation for the work carried out at our Vocational School and shared his evaluations regarding the roadmap to be followed in order to achieve even more advanced goals. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş emphasized that project-oriented studies as well as academic and student-centered activities will be supported at every stage.
